I think it's Dell Quickset drivers and there may be something similar for HP laptops. The HP Envy x360 15t is an affordable, 15-inch 2-in-1 that looks nice but suffers from a lackluster screen. Off the top of my head, I can't remember what type of drivers activates that feature for Dell laptops. That could be your problem or it could be that the option isn't available because you don't have all the chipset drivers or HP special handling drivers or something like that. Also i tried to change them in battery plans and the slider bar has disappeared, I went to display settings and there was also no slider bar. My Dell does have a way of adjusting it in the Monitor properties but it took me months to discover that because it's very well hidden. The next day (today) I found out there was the issue of fps drops in a game and proceeded to check the issue and also found out that the F2 and F3 keys have lost their function to change screen brightness. first time was because I forgot to warn you about the moon symbol.

Is there a key anywhere on the keyboard (probably somewhere near the Alt and Ctrl keys) marked 'Fn'? If so, note what colour the letters are and search for symbols in a corresponding colour, that might represent the sun. Are you new to laptops? If so, maybe you're looking in the wrong place.
